What personal information from customers does Trade4Dent collect?

We collect your personal information to provide and continuously improve products and services.

This includes the following categories of personal information:

•Information you give us: We collect and store information that you provide to us in connection with Trade4Dent Services.  You can choose not to provide us with information, but this may mean that you cannot use many of the Trade4Dent Services.

•Automatic Information: When you use Trade4Dent Services, we automatically receive and store certain information, such as information regarding your usage, including your interaction with content and services available through Trade4Dent Services. Among other things, like many websites, we use "cookies" and other unique identifiers and receive certain information when your web browser or device accesses Trade4Dent Services and other content provided by or on behalf of Trade4Dent on other websites.  This access data is evaluated solely for the purpose of ensuring trouble-free operation of the site and improving our services. Pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DSGVO, this serves to protect our legitimate interests in the correct presentation of our offer, which outweigh our interests in the context of a balancing of interests.

•For the preparation of an invoice in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) and the German Tax Code (AO), the minimum information required by the Federal Ministry of Finance and the HGB/AO is required.  Furthermore, we reserve the right to request copies of evidence, e.g. with regard to trade law or other registrations, licences or qualifications, a confirmation of business registration ("trade licence"), the master craftsman's certificate or comparable evidence as proof of individual details stored in the member profile. These documents are stored in electronic form.

The legal basis for this processing can be found in Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

•Recommendations and personalisation. We process your personal information to recommend features, products and services that may be of interest to you, to determine your preferences and to personalise your experience with Trade4Dent Services. The legal basis for these processing operations can be found in Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO.

•Compliance with legal obligations. In certain cases, we are subject to legal obligations to collect and process your personal information. The legal basis for these processing operations can be found in Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c DSGVO.

•Communication with you. We use your personal information to communicate with you via various channels (e.g. by phone, email, chat) regarding Trade4Dent services. The legal basis for these processing operations can be found in Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO.

•We use information such as your interactions with Trade4Dent websites, content or services to serve interest-based ads for features, products and services that may be of interest to you. The legal basis for these processing operations can be found in Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO. We do not use any information that personally identifies you to display interest-based advertising.

•Fraud prevention and credit risks. We process personal information to prevent or detect fraud and abuse to protect the security of our customers, Trade4Dent and third parties. We may also use scoring methods to assess and manage credit risks.

•Purposes for which we seek your consent. We may ask for your consent to process your personal information for a specific purpose, which we will disclose to you. If you consent to the processing of your personal information for a specific purpose, you may freely withdraw your consent at any time and we will stop processing your information for that purpose. The legal basis for these processing operations can be found in Art. 6 (1) lit. a DSGVO.

•We use a CRM system from Weclapp to manage contacts and customer accounts. Contact information as well as customer correspondence is recorded in our system.  If you send us an email, it will be stored in our system. The legal basis for this processing can be found in Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

Does Trade4Dent share personal information?

Information about our customers is an important part of our business. However, it is not part of our business to sell our customers' personal information. We only share customers' personal information to the extent described below:

•Transactions with third parties: We provide services, products, apps or skills to you that are provided by third parties for use on or through Trade4Dent Services. In some cases, we provide services or sell product lines jointly with third parties,

•Third-party service providers: If third parties receive your data, this is done for the following purposes:

•For the transmission of your contact data in connection with the initiation and processing of the contractual relationship, for example, to establish contact between the client and the contractor, processing of payments (credit card, direct debit, factoring and purchase on account), transmission of content, assessment of credit risks and customer service. (Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. b DSGVO)

•Information to certain authorities within the scope of their legal duties (Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. c DSGVO).

•In the event of non-contractual settlement (e.g. termination due to default of payment, legally established claim), we may also transmit personal data to a credit reference agency or a debt collection service provider if the legal requirements are met. The legal basis for this is also Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

•We hire other companies and individuals to perform tasks for us. Examples include, but are not limited to, fulfilling orders and providing services, delivering packages, sending letters or emails, maintaining our customer lists, analysing our databases, assisting with advertising efforts, providing search results and links (including paid listings and links), processing payments (credit card, direct debit, factoring, and bill payment), submitting content, assessing credit risk, and providing customer service. These third party service providers have access to personal information needed to perform their functions. However, they are not allowed to use it for any other purpose. In addition, we have concluded appropriate data processing agreements with these service providers in order to comply with the Data Protection Act.

•Transfer of business shares: As we continue to develop our business, we may sell or buy other businesses or services. In such transactions, customer information is usually transferred along with the portion of the business being transferred. However, this information will continue to be subject to the pre-existing privacy notices (except, of course, where the customer expressly consents to other terms). In the unlikely event that Trade4Dent UG, as a whole or substantially all of it, is sold, personal information will be transferred to the buyer.

•Protection of Trade4Dent and Third Parties: We disclose customer accounts and personal information about customers when we are required to do so by law or when such disclosure is necessary to enforce our Terms and Conditions or other agreements or to protect the rights of Trade4Dent, as well as the rights of our customers and third parties. This includes sharing data with companies to prevent and minimise abuse and credit card fraud.

In the following, you will find information on which data subject rights the applicable data protection law grants you vis-à-vis the controller with regard to the processing of your personal data:

Unless otherwise stated, the use of all information we have about you and your customer accounts is subject to this Privacy Policy. Third-party providers / cookies

Our website uses so-called "cookies". Cookies are small text files that are stored either temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies) on your terminal device. Session cookies are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Permanent cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them yourself or until they are automatically deleted by your web browser.

Cookies have various functions. Many cookies are technically necessary, as certain website functions would not work without them (e.g. the shopping cart function or language settings). Other cookies are used to evaluate user behaviour or to display advertising.

Technically necessary cookies are stored on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. We have a legitimate interest in storing cookies for the technically error-free and optimised provision of our services. Other cookies are only stored with your consent on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO. The consent can be revoked at any time for the future. The legal basis may also arise from Art. 6 (1) lit. b DSGVO if the processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party or for the performance of pre-contractual measures which are carried out at the request of the data subject.

Insofar as cookies are used for analysis purposes, we will inform you separately about this within the framework of this data protection declaration and obtain your consent.

You can set your browser so that you

•be informed about the setting of cookies,

•Allow cookies only in individual cases,

•exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general,

•activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser.

The cookie settings can be managed under the following links for the respective browsers:

You can also manage cookies of many companies and functions used for advertising individually. To do this, use the corresponding user tools, available at https://www.aboutads.info/choices/ or http://www.youronlinechoices.com/uk/your-ad-choices.

Most browsers also offer a so-called "do-not-track" function. When this function is activated, the respective browser tells advertising networks, websites and applications that you do not want to be "tracked" for the purpose of behavioural advertising and the like.

Information and instructions on how to edit this function can be obtained from the links below, depending on the provider of your browser:

•Google Chrome

•Mozilla Firefox

List of third party providers

Google Analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics, an internet analysis service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies".

Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity. Google will also use this information to provide the website operator with other services related to the use of the website and the internet. The IP address sent by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be combined with any other data held by Google. The processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO on the basis of the consent you have given.

We only use Google Analytics with IP anonymisation activated. This means that your IP address is only processed by Google in a shortened form.

We have concluded an order processing contract with the service provider in which we oblige them to protect our customers' data and not to pass it on to third parties.

Since a transfer of personal data to the USA takes place, further protection mechanisms are required to ensure the level of data protection of the GDPR. To ensure this, we have agreed standard data protection clauses with the provider in accordance with Art. 46 (2) lit. c DSGVO. These oblige the recipient of the data in the USA to process the data in accordance with the level of protection in Europe. In cases where this cannot be ensured even through this contractual extension, we endeavour to obtain additional regulations and commitments from the recipient in the USA.

The Google Analytics terms of use and information on data protection can be accessed via the following links:

http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html

https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/

The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. Deletion of user and event level data linked to cookies, user identifiers (e.g. User ID) and advertising IDs (e.g. DoubleClick cookies, Android advertising ID, IDFA [Apple identifier for advertisers]) will take place no later than 14 months after collection.

You can prevent cookies from being saved by adjusting the settings of your browser software accordingly. However, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website without restrictions. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and from analysing your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de. TMG.

Campaign Manager Google

We use the online marketing tool Campaign Manager from the Google Marketing Platform. Campaign Manager uses cookies to serve ads that are relevant to users, to improve campaign performance reports or to prevent a user from seeing the same ads more than once. Google uses a cookie ID to record which ads are shown in which browser and can thus prevent them from being shown more than once. In addition, Campaign Manager can use cookie IDs to record so-called conversions that are related to ad requests. This is the case, for example, when a user sees a Campaign Manager ad and later visits the advertiser's website with the same browser and makes a purchase. According to Google, Campaign Manager cookies do not contain any personal information.

Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with the Google server. We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected by Google through the use of this tool and therefore inform you according to our state of knowledge: Through the integration of Campaign Manager, Google receives the information that you have called up the corresponding part of our website or clicked on an advertisement from us. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or have not logged in, it is possible that the provider may obtain and store your IP address.

In addition, the Campaign Manager (DoubleClick Floodlight) cookies used allow us to understand whether you take certain actions on our website after you have accessed or clicked on one of our display/video ads on Google or on another platform via Campaign Manager (conversion tracking). Campaign Manager uses this cookie to understand the content you have interacted with on our websites in order to send you targeted advertising later.

You can prevent participation in this tracking process in various ways:

o by an appropriate setting of your browser software, in particular the suppression of third-party cookies will result in you not receiving any third-party ads;

o by disabling cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the googleadservices.com domain, https://www.google.de/settings/ads, which setting will be deleted when you delete your cookies;

o by deactivating the interest-based ads of the providers that are part of the self-regulation campaign "About Ads" via the link http://www.aboutads.info/choices, whereby this setting is deleted when you delete your cookies;

o by permanently deactivating it in your Firefox, Internet Explorer or Google Chrome browsers at the link http://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin,

e) by means of corresponding cookie settings. Please note that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent.

In addition, you can prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookies about your use of the websites and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/142293?hl=de under "Display settings", "Extension for Campaign Manager deactivation".

For more information on Campaign Manager, please visit https://www.google.de/doubleclick and on Google privacy in general: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy. Alternatively, you can visit the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) website at http://www.networkadvertising.org.

As there is a transfer of the IP address to Google in the USA, further protection mechanisms are required to ensure the data protection level of the GDPR.

The legal basis for the use is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a, lit. f DSGVO as well as Art. 15 para. 3 TMG.

Facebook Pixel

We use "Facebook Pixel" on our website, a service of Facebook Inc., 1601 S California Ave, Palo Alto, California 94304, USA (hereinafter referred to as: "Facebook").

If you have given us your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a DSGVO, we use Facebook Pixel for marketing and optimisation purposes, in particular to place relevant and interesting ads for you on Facebook and thus improve our offer, make it more interesting for you as a user and avoid annoying ads.

Facebook Pixel enables Facebook to display our ads on Facebook, so-called "Facebook Ads", only to those Facebook users who were visitors to our internet presence, in particular who have shown interest in our online offer. In this case, Facebook Pixel also makes it possible to check whether a user was redirected to our website after clicking on our Facebook Ads. Facebook Pixel uses, among other things, cookies, i.e. small text files that are stored locally in the cache of your web browser on your end device. If you are logged into your Facebook user account, your visit to our website will be recorded in your user account. The data collected about you is anonymous for us, so it does not allow us to draw any conclusions about the identity of the user. However, this data can be linked by Facebook to your user account there. If you have a user account with Facebook and are registered, Facebook can assign the visit to your user account.

As there is a transfer of personal data to the USA, further protection mechanisms are required to ensure the level of data protection of the GDPR.

Further information from the third-party provider on data protection can be found on the following Facebook website: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy.

Information on the Facebook pixel can be found on the following Facebook website: https://www.facebook.com/business/help/651294705016616

You can make the relevant settings as to which types of advertisements are displayed to you within Facebook at the following Facebook website: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=ads.

Google Ads Remarketing

We use the remarketing function within the Google Ads service. With the remarketing function, we can present users of our website with advertisements based on their interests on other websites within the Google advertising network (in Google Search or on YouTube, so-called "Google Ads" or on other websites). For this purpose, the interaction of users on our website is analysed, e.g. which offers the user was interested in, in order to be able to display targeted advertising to users on other sites even after they have visited our website. For this purpose, Google stores a number in the browsers of users who visit certain Google services or websites in the Google display network. This number, known as a "cookie", is used to record the visits of these users. This number is used to uniquely identify a web browser on a specific end device and not to identify a person; personal data is not stored.

You can prevent participation in this tracking process in various ways:

1. by adjusting your browser software accordingly; in particular, the suppression of third-party cookies will result in you not receiving any third-party ads;

2. by installing the plug-in provided by Google at the following link: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin;

3. by deactivating the interest-based ads of the providers that are part of the self-regulation campaign "About Ads" via the link http://www.aboutads.info/choices, whereby this setting is deleted when you delete your cookies;

4. by permanently deactivating it in your Firefox, Internetexplorer or Google Chrome browsers at the link http://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin,

5. by means of appropriate cookie settings. Please note that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent.

Further information on Google's data protection can be found here: http://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy and https://services.google.com/sitestats/de.html. Alternatively, you can visit the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) website at http://www.networkadvertising.org.

The legal basis in this case is Article 6 (1) (a) or (f) DSGVO and Section 15 (3) TMG.

Google Remarketing

We use the Google Remarketing application. This is a procedure with which we would like to address you again within 24 months. Through this application, you can be shown our advertisements when you continue to use the internet after visiting our website. This is done by means of cookies stored in your browser, which Google uses to record and evaluate your usage behaviour when you visit various websites. In this way, Google can determine your previous visit to our website. According to its own statements, Google does not combine the data collected in the course of remarketing with your personal data, which may be stored by Google. In particular, according to Google, pseudonymisation is used in remarketing.

You can prevent participation in this tracking process in various ways:

1. by adjusting your browser software accordingly; in particular, the suppression of third-party cookies will result in you not receiving any third-party ads;

2. by installing the plug-in provided by Google at the following link: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin;

4. by permanently deactivating it in your Firefox, Internetexplorer or Google Chrome browsers at the link http://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin,

5. by means of appropriate cookie settings.

As there is a transfer of the IP address to Google in the USA, further protection mechanisms are required to ensure the data protection level of the GDPR. These oblige the recipient of the data in the USA to process the data in accordance with the level of protection in Europe. In cases where this cannot be ensured even through this contractual extension, we endeavour to obtain additional regulations and commitments from the recipient in the USA.

Google Ads Conversion

We use the Google Ads Conversion offer to draw attention to our attractive offers on external websites with the help of advertising media (so-called Google Ads). We can determine how successful the individual advertising measures are in relation to the data of the advertising campaigns. In this way, we pursue the interest of showing you advertising that is of interest to you, making our website more interesting for you and achieving a fair calculation of advertising costs.

These advertisements are delivered by Google via so-called "ad servers". For this purpose, we use ad server cookies, which can be used to measure certain parameters for measuring success, such as the display of ads or clicks by users. If you access our website via a Google ad, Google Ads will store a cookie on your end device. These cookies usually lose their validity after 30 days and are not intended to identify you personally. The unique cookie ID, number of ad impressions per placement (frequency), last impression (relevant for post-view conversions) and opt-out information (marking that the user no longer wishes to be addressed) are usually stored as analysis values for this cookie.

These cookies enable Google to recognise your internet browser. If a user visits certain pages of an Ads customer's website and the cookie stored on their computer has not yet expired, Google and the customer can recognise that the user has clicked on the ad and been redirected to that page. A different cookie is assigned to each Ads customer. Cookies can therefore not be tracked via the websites of Ads customers. We ourselves do not collect or process any personal data in the aforementioned advertising measures. We only receive statistical evaluations from Google. These evaluations enable us to recognise which of the advertising measures used are particularly effective. We do not receive any further data from the use of the advertising tools; in particular, we cannot identify users on the basis of this information. Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with Google's server. We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected by Google through the use of this tool and therefore inform you according to our state of knowledge: Through the integration of Ads Conversion, Google receives the information that you have called up the corresponding part of our website or clicked on an advertisement from us. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or have not logged in, it is possible that the provider will obtain and store your IP address.

Since the IP address is transferred to Google in the USA, further protective mechanisms are required to ensure the level of data protection of the GDPR. To ensure this, we have agreed

standard data protection clauses with the provider in accordance with Art. 46 Para. 2 lit. c DSGVO. These oblige the recipient of the data in the USA to process the data in accordance with the level of protection in Europe. In cases where this cannot be ensured even through this contractual extension, we endeavour to obtain additional regulations and commitments from the recipient in the USA. The legal basis in this case is Article 6 (1) (a) or (f) DSGVO and Section 15 (3) TMG.

Use of social plugins from Facebook, Google, XING, LinkedIN, YouTube

So-called social plugins ("plugins") from social networks are used on our website. When you call up a page of our website that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to the servers of Facebook, Google, Twitter or Instagram. The content of the plugin is transmitted directly to your browser by the respective provider and integrated into the page. By integrating the plugins, the providers receive the information that your browser has accessed the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have a profile or are not currently logged in. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted by your browser directly to a server of the respective provider (possibly in the USA) and stored there. If you are logged in to one of the services, the providers can directly assign your visit to our website to your profile in the respective social network. If you interact with the plugins, for example by clicking the "Like" or "Share" button, the corresponding information is also transmitted directly to a server of the providers and stored there. The information is also published on the social network and displayed there to your contacts. This serves to protect our legitimate interests in optimal marketing of our offer, which outweigh our interests in the context of a balancing of interests pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DSGVO. For the purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by the providers, as well as a contact option and your rights and setting options in this regard to protect your privacy, please refer to the data protection information of the providers.

If you do not want the social networks to directly assign the data collected via our website to your profile in the respective service, you must log out of the corresponding service before visiting our website. You can also completely prevent the loading of the plugins with add-ons for your browser, e.g. with the script blocker "NoScript" (http://noscript.net/).

For videos from Youtube that are embedded on our site, the extended data protection setting is activated. This means that no information from website visitors is collected and stored by Youtube unless they play the video. The integration of the videos serves to protect our legitimate interests in the optimal marketing of our offer, which prevail in the context of a balancing of interests, in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DSGVO. For the purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by the providers, as well as your rights in this regard and setting options for protecting your privacy, please refer to the privacy policy of Google http://www.google.com/intl/de/+/policy/+1button.html.
